The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and Special Operations Division with the assistance of The Regional Community Policing Institute is sponsoring “Narcan Train-the-Trainer.”


This class is designed for first aid instructors and other law-enforcement trainers. This class will train instructors on how to teach the deployment and administration of naloxone, commonly known as Narcan. It will cover the basic signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, what to look for, and how to administer the medication. This training has been approved by County EMS.

The dress code for this training is proper business casual attire or uniform. Tank tops, shorts, jeans, and sandals are considered inappropriate.  Students not following the dress code will be turned away.
