An Internet Based "One Stop Shop of Information" for Los Angeles and Orange County Law Enforcement.

Since July 2009, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has been developing this first in the nation system to complement the already existing crime/gang management and analysis technologies. Community-Based Information System (CBIS) was launched September of 2010. All sworn and crime analysis personnel can request access to this Internet-based system by sending an email to Lieutenant Cheryl Newman-Tarwater at canewman@lasd.org.
