Sharon Johnson
East Los Angeles College
For the past three years, Sharon Johnson has been employed full-time at the Los Angeles Community College District, East Los Angeles College, where she is in charge of the Sheriff’s Affiliation Program. She also teaches at Chapman University and Long Beach City College. Sharon is an active Reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD), and had previously been a full-time LASD Deputy Sheriff for twelve years before pursuing a career in teaching in 1990.
Ms. Johnson has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University - Long Beach, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Whittier College of Law.
